Comic Book artist and illustrator Ashley Wood has posted some interesting new photos on his blog. Hmm... I wonder what he's up to?
Could this work-in-progress painting have something to do with IDW's upcoming Astro Boy publications? Or is it just for fun? We'll just have to wait and see! Sure looks like an awesome take on Astro though!

I can't wait to see IDW's Astro comics. I mean, NEW Astro Boy comics? Yes please. I know they won't come from Tezuka (mind you, neither will the film), but I'm still curious about what they'll be like.
Yes, it will be very interesting to see how IDW's works turn out, especially if they extend beyond just adaptations of the movie. Remember, they make children's books too, so there will probably be lots of different material!
