The Art of Osamu Tezuka wins Harvey Award

The amazing book dedicated to the life and work of the God of Manga, The Art of Osamu Tezuka by Helen McCarthy, has been awarded with the Harvey Award for "Best American Edition of Foreign Material". And hurray for the Harvey Award! The book richly deserves it. (Of course, I also thought the Astro Boy movie deserved an Oscar, or at least should have been nominated for one. Liked it more than the last 2 Pixars, frankly. What a moving, endearing unpretentious little film. So happy I have it on DVD).
